King Charles III has arranged for his younger brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor , to relocate to the Sandringham estate , a private royal property in eastern England. The decision follows years of public backlash tied to Andrew ’s association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and subsequent scandals. The move will see the 65-year-old former prince leave Royal Lodge, his 30-room residence on the Windsor Castle grounds, as he continues to step back from public life and royal duties. While he has been stripped of his official status and privileges, Andrew will still occupy comfortable accommodation on the secluded estate. Sandringham, situated in one of the U.K.’s least populated regions, is not a state-owned royal residence. U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday said he has directed the Pentagon to prepare plans for potential military action in Nigeria, escalating his claims that the Nigerian government is not doing enough to curb the persecution of Christians in the country. President Bola Tinubu has carried out a sweeping overhaul of Nigeria’s military leadership, weeks after a planned coup attempt was thwarted and several suspects arrested. In a move that surprised many Nigerians, Tinubu dismissed the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa , and appointed former Chief of Army Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede , as his replacement. Chicago drill rapper Devonsha Collier, known as THF Bayzoo and an associate of Lil Durk, was fatally shot this past weekend in Little Village, Chicago, authorities said. Collier, 35, was struck around 3 p.m. Saturday on the 3100 block of South St. Louis Avenue. Two other men, ages 39 and 42, were also injured. Collier was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead early Sunday. Police have ruled the case a homicide. No suspects were in custody as of Monday. Video allegedly showing the attack surfaced on social media shortly after the shooting. Collier was previously acquitted in a 2009 murder case after being arrested in 2014 at rapper Lil Durk’s Orland Park home. He was found not guilty in 2017. Share this story

Nigerian Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka on Tuesday disclosed that the United States has revoked his visa, effectively barring him from entering the country for the time being. Speaking during a media session at Kongi’s Harvest Gallery in Freedom Park, Lagos, Soyinka said he was shocked by the development, stressing that he was unaware of any action that could have triggered the decision. “I felt it necessary to call this conference so those in the United States expecting me for engagements don't waste their time,” he said. “I have no visa; I am banned, obviously, from the United States. " The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has detained popular Lagos socialite and nightclub proprietor, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, known as Pretty Mike, following a raid on his Victoria Island establishment where a suspected drug-themed party was taking place. The operation targeted Proxy Nightclub at 7 Akin Adesola Street in the early hours of Sunday, October 26th. According to an NDLEA statement by its Director, Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, the agency had received intelligence about the nature of the event and sent undercover operatives into the venue from 11 pm on Saturday. The gathering was subsequently disrupted around 3 am on Sunday morning, in line with the agency’s Standard Operating Procedures.
